THE PCLC SEXUAL VIOLENCE PROJECTS AT A GLANCE
SHAPE (Sexual Harassment Advice, Prevention and Education
PCLC is one of 22 Community Legal Clinics participating in the SHAPE (Sexual Advice Prevention and Education) project, an initiative sponsored by the Justice Department of the Government of Canada to provide public legal education to employers and employees about how to prevent and address sexual harassment in the workplace. As part of this project PCLC is offering free legal advice and services to victims of sexual harassment in the workplace.
Your Way Forward
PCLC is also working with 8 other Community Legal Clinics to improve access to justice for people who have experienced intimate partner violence and sexual violence. We are also collaborating with other service providers to provide public legal education on topics related to intimate partner violence and sexual assault.

PCLC is offering free virtual workshops in person and by Zoom for managers, board members, employees, and students about how to prevent and address SHIW in their workplace. These workshops are engaging and informative and open for anyone to join. See our event page for more information about our upcoming workshops
FREE LEGAL SERVICES FOR SHIW VICTIMS
Making Justice Accessible for SHIW Victims
PCLC can offer free legal information and advice to SHIW victims by phone or by Zoom. If a SHIW victim qualifies financially we can also provide assistance and representation with legal proceedings related to SHIW.
